From the first phone call to the last box in the right room, here is exactly how a move with us runs.
Tell us what you are moving
Call or send the form. We ask about the size of the place, the stairs or elevator at both ends, and anything oversized. That is enough for a real number.
Get your estimate and lock the date
You get the hourly rate, the crew size and an honest estimate of how long it will take. If the date works, we book it in.
We arrive and wrap everything
Furniture gets blanketed and shrink wrapped, floors and door frames get protected, then loading starts. Nothing goes on the truck bare.
Everything goes back together
Boxes land in the room they are labelled for and beds and tables get reassembled. You pay for the hours worked, at the rate you were quoted.

How much does a move cost?

What areas do you serve?
We are based in Cambridge and move throughout Waterloo Region, including Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph and Brantford, plus the surrounding townships. We also handle long distance moves within Ontario. If you are outside that area, call and ask.
Do you take furniture apart and put it back together?
Yes, and it is included in every move at no extra charge. Beds, dining tables, desks and wardrobes come apart at the old place and go back together at the new one.
How do you protect my furniture and my floors?
Every piece is blanketed and shrink wrapped before it leaves the room. Floors and door frames are protected at both ends. Nothing goes on the truck bare.
How far in advance should I book?
[NEEDS: typical lead time, plus how tight a last-minute booking can realistically be. Worth naming month end and the summer season specifically, since that is when people get stuck.]
What happens if something gets damaged?

Do I have to pack everything myself?
No. We offer full or partial packing with our own materials, so you can hand over the whole job or just the kitchen and the fragile items. If you would rather pack yourself, that is fine too.
What if my closing dates do not line up?
This is common and we plan for it. We load your belongings into storage, hold them for as long as you need, and deliver when the new place is ready. [NEEDS: storage rate and whether it is billed weekly or monthly.]
